The Realms
A somatic mapping for times
of transition and becoming.
FOUR REALMS OF HUMAN EXPERIENCE
Four realms.
One living system.
108 archetypes represent recurring patterns of human experience. Each archetype expresses itself differently depending on how experience is currently being organised. The realms are not stages of development and they are not a hierarchy. They are landscapes. They describe recurring conditions that appear throughout a lifetime. At times, a pattern may be hidden beneath awareness. At other times, it may begin to loosen. Sometimes it asks to be met through conscious action. Sometimes it settles into a more coherent way of being. The work is not to produce a different outcome. It is to enter the place where unconscious repetition becomes visible and where a different way of participating becomes possible.
IT IS ACCESSED THROUGH CONTACT.
This work meets the system beneath explanation, identity, effort, and story. As awareness deepens, what once felt fixed begins to loosen. We work with the system where greater coherence becomes possible.

01. AIR · RECOGNITION
Veil
The beginning
The system before it knows itself. What is held just beneath awareness. You may feel confused, disconnected, stuck, uncertain, or caught in patterns that seem to repeat without explanation.Often the answers are not absent. They are simply hidden by assumptions, habits of perception, or ways of relating that have become so familiar they no longer appear visible. The work here is recognition.
PATTERN RECOGNITION
HIDDEN ASSUMPTIONS
PERCEPTUAL NARROWING

02. WATER · DESTABILISATION
Rift
The opening
The space of movement, instability, and questions. Where familiar organisation begins to loosen.Old certainties no longer feel solid. Questions become louder than answers. The way things have always been done no longer feels convincing, yet the next step has not fully emerged. This realm often feels uncomfortable because it asks us to remain present in uncertainty rather than rushing towards resolution. The work here is staying in contact with what is changing.
THRESHOLD
LIMINAL CURRENT
EMERGING SIGNAL

03. FIRE · REORGANISATION
Forge
The meeting
Where awareness enters the body and coherence is practiced.
Pressure. Contact. Participation. What is seen begins to be lived.Something has been recognised. Something has shifted. Now the question becomes how to live it.This is where familiar patterns are challenged through participation rather than understanding alone. The work here is not perfection. It is practice.
SOMATIC CONTACT
CONSCIOUS ACTION
COHERENCE FORMING

04. ETHER · INTEGRATION
Zenith
The integration
The space of coherence, embodiment, and truth. The place where what was once effort begins to feel natural. The struggle to remember gives way to a different way of being. What was previously practiced becomes embodied. What was once a conscious effort becomes part of everyday life. This is not the end of the journey. It is simply a period where greater coherence has become available.
EMBODIED TRUTH
